  • Coding of injuries / poisoning and external causes
  • MDR TB coding
  • Coding of infections
  • Accuracy in coding
  • Definitions of primary and secondary diagnoses
  • Selection of the primary diagnosis
  • Basic practical applications (coding of single conditions and application of dual coding rule)
  • The use of the SA Coding Standards Document
