This is a half-day workshop specifically designed to benefit non-medical staff, home-based carers and nursing auxiliaries required to do vital signs observation or monitoring in the interest of patient safety.
Participants will have the opportunity to practise measuring physiological parameters and observing clinical parameters for signs of clinical deterioration to improve patient outcomes. The course is presented by The Division of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Cape Town.
