Global surgery is an emerging andexciting interdisciplinary field ofenquiry, research, practice and advocacy.

Join us to learn about access to surgical care andstrengthening surgical health systems to achieve health equity for all people who need surgical,obstetric and anaesthesia care.

The course is presented by UCT's Head of Global Surgery, A/Prof Salome Maswime.

  • Introduction to global surgery 
  • Introduction to surgical systems strengthening
